Our holiday programs are Makey-Makey workshops. These exciting 5 day mini-camps are for 1 week each, and held at our Tekmania location. Designed for students 8-14 years of age, these workshops incorporate hands-on programming Makey-Makey circuit board kits with Scratch 3.0. Students can design their own electrical board game, computer game controller, or even their own musical instruments from bananas! They collaborate together in small groups and choose the projects (if not all!) they want to complete.
Creativity
Children discover the joy of creating and designing their own characters and stories, games, and challenges.

Children build upong techniques learned in order to creatively solve engaging projects and challenges.
Hands-on Approach
Every child has access to their own touch screen laptop and Makey-Makey educational circuit board kit.

Children will learn through guided experimentation and discovery problem solving skills in a fun and inspiring hands-on approach.
Engineering Concepts
Children will learn basic engineering techniques and use them to develop and program their Makey-Makey kits using Scratch 3.0.
Keep your Projects
All students will be able to bring their projects home to share with the family.
